Description:
Portrait of fellow artist, legendary pioneering sculpture street artist and mentor, Linus Corragio. This piece was painted at Corragio's live/work space in Harlem, NY in 2020, where the two often met to brainstorm on bringing his work to life in a digital realm with her art/tech business, The Parallel. The two met during a group art exhibition that they both showed work in at Contra Gallery, in Chelsea, NYC in the fall of 2018. Corragio's work involved welding together every day objects of metal, brass, plastic, wood..etc. to create masterful sculptures found in galleries, restaurants and the streets of New York.
