Description:
Portrait of world renown wire sculptor artist, Skye Ferrante, also known as, "Man Of Wire". This piece was painted of the artist while Ferrante sculpted Lucas' portrait out of wire, in front of a live audience as a private collector show in a Hudson Towers penthouse in NYC in 2016. The two exhibited works in this show alongside other renown artists such as Shepard Fairey of OBEY, Kenny Scharf, Eddy Bogeart and more. Being the youngest artist in the show, Lucas felt of this evening as a turning point in her career, resulting in an article of her performance in L'etage Magazine by journalist, Sara Nardea. This piece also lead Lucas to working with her early Art Manager, Lynn Hutchins of Hutchins AMC.
